"Welcome to the Milk Mama Diaries Carnival (December). For this month, we want to honor breastfeeding for having enriched our lives and blessed us, maybe even empowered us, in a way that only breastfeeding can. Please scroll down to the end of this post and check out the other carnival participants."
Breastfeeding is one of the most natural and beneficial acts a mother can do for her child. For some, breastfeeding comes smooth and easy while for others, (like me) is a hard earned success. Christmas is the best time to give gifts and if you know someone who is breastfeeding her baby or a mom-to-be here are my personal pick that you can give as a gift to a nursing or soon to be moms :)
C is for Nursing Cover
It makes breastfeeding in public "discreet"
H is for Home Mom Massage
A home service massage provider that specializes in pregnancy, labor and lactation massages. Mom Massage helps relieve the pain of child bearing and help in increasing the milk supply of breastfeeding women.
R is for Rechargeable Battery Pack
Making it easy to pump in places where outlets may be difficult to find. (for electric breast pump)
I is for Nursing Clothes

Nursing clothes allow breastfeeding mothers to nurse their babies and toddlers with ease. I like the Mommy Matters nursing wear (my favorite brand) because it's very comfortable and they do carry a wide variety of styles that fits my personal chic. It works great on my body type too!
S is for Breast Pump
I cannot say how much thankful I am to my Medela Swing. Hands-free pumping is great! If you have any concern about breastfeeding Medela Moms will support and guide you through your breastfeeding journey. A breastfeeding advocate where you can run to for motherly advice and wisdom.
T is for LacTation Cookies
A perfect treats for breastfeeding moms. You can order Mommy Paola's lactation cookies here.
M is for Milk Storage Bags
I was blessed with an abundant milk supply (thank you Lord!) The Breast milk storage bag is the MOST important for me.
A is for Nursing Necklace
This is something to occupy P's attention during feeding time. My daughter likes to pinch and scratch my breast maybe having this necklace will encourage her to explore the necklace rather than doing unnecessary distractions. What do you think?
S is for Breast Packs
A hot/cold reusable gel pads that ease the discomforts of engorgement, blocked ducts, mastitis and breast tenderness thus, promoting a healthy breastfeeding experience.
That's my personal list! Nursing our babies is a wonderful and sometimes challenging task. This Christmas I really, really like to receive lots of storage bag. How about you? What's the best breastfeeding gift that you want?
Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteall I want for Christmas are .. the things on your list! great list :) thanks for visiting my blog as well. about having a social life the key is realistic expectations. The stuff on your list will be very helpful in making you comfortable with feeding outside the home or leaving your daughter with a trusted caregiver while you have some quality time with fellow adults. My husband and I have weekly date nights. It's not easy as before and requires a lot of planning but could be done. Hope this helps :)
